D and D Manufacturing is hiring for a qualified CNC Operator and Programmer with experience on a variety of CNC Lathes machines.  We have 1st and 2nd shift openings for employees with prior experience performing the following essential duties:

• Perform post programming work-flow and output on several types of CNC machines
• Set up appropriate machines and run/complete job in a timely manner
• Ensure first article quality inspections are performed on the individual parts and that close tolerances are held throughout the machining process
• Perform all concurrent operations on piece parts while running the CNC milling machine to maximize cell output
• Design and/or build effective and efficient tooling and fixturing to enhance throughput and improve quality
• Focus on meeting production requirements and optimizing throughput in the department
• Ensure parts from start to finish meet all aspects of both print and customer requirements

We are looking for a trained CNC Operator and Programmer with the following skills:

• Familiar with and proven knowledge and understanding of the machine's capabilities
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, with an understanding of fixture design
• Have proven mechanical aptitude and abilities
• The ability to use measuring tools
• Have excellent organizational and planning skills
• In-depth knowledge of NC codes and ability to produce efficient and cost effective NC programs
• Strong math skills and good communication and problem-solving skills
